Your membership fee, and some conditions, depend on which membership category is applicable to you:

University of Reading Students - Prices »

Available to current students of the University of Reading on production of a valid University of Reading access card.

  • Student VO2 and VO2MAX membership is available to purchase annually (for the duration of the academic year) or for 3 months at a time.

Community - Prices »

We welcome everyone, not just University students and staff, to join and take advantage of our fantastic facilities. Available to the public.


Staff/Alumni - Prices »

Staff

Available to University of Reading and RUSU staff. Proof of current employment – e.g. production of the most recent pay slip – will be required.

Alumni

Available to individuals who have graduated from the University of Reading. Proof of graduation will be required on application, e.g. degree certificate.

Other students

Available to students in higher or further education on a full time course of study. Proof of student status will be required.

Under 18

Applicants must be aged 17 years or under.

  • Members aged 16–17 are permitted unsupervised access to the VO2 Fitness Studio on completion of an induction and can take part in VO2 Group Exercise classes
  • Under-16 year olds are permitted to take part in VO2 Group Exercise classes if accompanied by an adult and at the discretion of the instructor.

Senior

Available to individuals aged 60 years or over.

Family

Available to a member’s partner and immediate family living at the same address.

  • The lead member pays for the price band applicable to them
  • The additional family members receive the same membership option – Classic, VO2 or VO2MAX – from the Family price band
  • Proof of address will be required on application.
