Inductions are compulsory to all members wishing to use the fitness studio
All Classic members must attend an induction before using the Fitness Studio. This ensures basic knowledge of the gym environment and fitness equipment for your safety (up to 30 mins).
Induction for new members who have not used a gym before or for a long time. A complete tour of the gym environment and informative demonstration of kit as well as emergency procedures.
Induction for regular/experienced gym users. The induction will explain the VO2 kit selection and briefly explain set-ups. Evacuation, health and safety, appropriate gym wear and appropriate behaviour will be covered.
For termly, annual or direct debit members
This offers members a more flexible approach to the induction process. It provides the member with the opportunity to tailor their induction to cover what is important to them (up to 30 mins).

Programming and structuring your training can be essential in achieving your fitness goals and targets. A member of the VO2 Fitness team will guide you through the two step process designing and implementing a personal programme specific to your goals and targets. Step 1

If you have been consistent with your programme, you’ll have been rewarded with improved fitness levels. Naturally, you would want these levels to keep on improving. For most people these improvements slow down after 6-8 weeks. An upgrade takes your original programme to the next level, making sure you don’t lose those gains you’ve trained so hard for, and you continue on your path to improved fitness. |
For those who are looking for something a little more detailed, Personal Training is the right option. You might be looking for some sports specific training or simply wanting to improve your shape and fulfil your physical potential. One of our Fitness Team will take you through a one to one individualized workout, providing plenty of motivation along the way. Each session will last one hour and can be purchased individually or as part of a 5 session pack. |
Have your blood pressure read, recorded and monitored.
Our monitors use Bioelectric Impedance Analysis (BIA) to monitor multiple components of overall health. The results are analysed along with gender, age, height and weight for the most accurate and comprehensive in Gym reading ever. Measurements include weight, body fat %, body water %, Basal Metabolic Rate, metabolic age, bone mass, muscle mass, physique rating and exclusive to Tanita, Visceral Fat Rating.
